A Day of Your Child at Work
Kiddie City offers many age-appropriate learning experiences. The children learn Science by exploring the world around them. They learn Language Arts through fingerplays. Numbers, Colors, Shapes and Letter Recognition are reinforced throughout the day. Math Concepts are strengthened by having children work in the kitchen preparing meals and baked goodies to bring home! Music is a fun part of our day as we dance to the tune of a different drummer or laugh so hard because the teacher can't carry a tune. Storytelling and Reading Books is the way we stretch our imaginations and get extra snuggles on a warm lap. To show what we did throughout our day, we often send home our masterpieces where emphasis is placed on the process rather than the product.

Your child will get LOTS of Natural Vitamin D by playing in our fully enclosed playard. They will have the opportunity to hike the great outdoors on neighborhood walks, harvest blueberries and plant seedlings, all while digging for worms! On that hot summer day when the clouds open up and it pours like cats and dogs you can probably find us running in the rain or squishing our toes in a mud puddle! At the end of the day you can rest assured your child had the opportunity to kick back, lay in the grass and look up in the sky for a cloud to go floating by and see something in a way that no one else did! Your child has the opportunity to learn about safety, self awareness, proper hygiene, social skills and many more important values while playing in a safe, motivating environment at Kiddie City. |
